A high-energy insight day designed to give young people real exposure to the world of media, business and future careers through direct access to the people, ideas and opportunities shaping the industry.
As part of Social Mobility Month, students will spend the day inside the FT hearing from employees across a range of teams and departments, gaining insight into career journeys, workplace culture and the skills needed to thrive in today’s evolving world of work.

The morning will focus on insights, interactive sessions and career conversations, with the opportunity to hear from FT professionals and take part in activities designed to build confidence, curiosity and commercial awareness.
The afternoon will see the FT work experience cohort present their business ideas and projects directly to attendees, followed by a live Q&A session where young people can ask honest questions about careers, experiences, challenges and opportunities at the FT.
Fast-paced, interactive and full of real-world learning, the day is designed to help young people build confidence, expand their understanding of career pathways and see themselves in spaces they may never have imagined entering.
