The Financial Times – Oracy Day

Communication is power.
As part of Social Mobility Month, Financial Times and Digilearning are coming together for a powerful Oracy workshop focused on helping young people find their voice, build confidence and communicate with impact.
Oracy — the ability to express ideas clearly, confidently and authentically, is one of the most important skills for future careers and social mobility. For many young people, talent is never the issue. Access, confidence and feeling seen in professional spaces often is.
This interactive session will explore how to tell your story, speak with confidence, present ideas effectively and bring your lived experiences into the workplace with authenticity and purpose.
Through honest conversations, practical exercises and insight from FT employees, attendees will develop the communication skills needed to thrive in interviews, workplaces and professional environments.
Because you cannot sell yourself until you know your story.
And every young person deserves the confidence to tell theirs.
