At our action-packed day at the Women in Tech Festival 2025 (Hybrid & In person), emerging talent from underrepresented backgrounds were given more than just a seat in the audience — they were given a mission. From the moment they arrived, participants were tasked with solving real-world challenges alongside professionals in AI, cybersecurity, product design and user experience. Through guided shadowing, live work simulations, and direct conversations with leading women in tech, the day delivered authentic work experience, career clarity, and a deep sense of belonging in a fast-moving industry. At our immersive insight day with The Jockey Club at Epsom Downs, young attendees were transported into the dynamic world behind Britain’s most prestigious racing events. From learning how the iconic venue is brought to life on race day, to hearing from professionals in marketing, broadcast, event production and customer experience, the experience revealed the many careers driving this historic industry. Attendees took part in creative workshops, asked questions to a panel of pros, and explored what it takes to succeed in sport, events, and live entertainment — walking away with fresh confidence, real connections, and a vision for their own future.
